Cousins Properties, Inc. signed four new retailers for Emory Point — the mixed-use development currently under construction near Emory’s main campus — last week.

The recently announced leases include Tin Lizzy’s, Jazmin Spa, Fresh to Order and the Italian restaurant La Tagliatella.

Emory Point will be located on Clifton Road near the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention building and the Emory Conference Center Hotel, according to a Nov. 8, 2011 Wheel article. The development will house 80,000 square feet of retail space and is expected to open this fall.

“We’re thrilled with the mix of retailers and restaurants, which reflects the best in local, national and even international tastes and trends,” Mike Cohn, Cousins’ executive vice president, said in a Cousins Properties press release on Feb. 24.

The Central European-based AmRest Holdings — which operates more than 600 restaurants in several countries — selected Emory Point for its restaurant La Tagliatella’s first U.S. location.

La Tagliatella will be a full-service Italian restaurant and will offer pastas, sauces and pizzas, as well as a full bar.

Jazmin Spa, which will have its fourth U.S. location at Emory Point, will offer facials, microdermabrasion, thermal body therapy treatments, nail services and massages, according to the Cousins Properties press release.

The popular taqueria Tin Lizzy’s is opening its fifth U.S. location at Emory Point. According to the press release, “The restaurant chain has [been] met with success for its tacos, guacamole and lively atmosphere.”

In addition, Fresh to Order will offer dine-in and take-out healthy food options, including salads and paninis. Emory Point will be Fresh to Order’s sixth location.

This past November, Cousins Properties announced that the development’s first business leases included CVS Pharmacy, Jos. A. Bank, Marlow’s Tavern, Which Wich, Solar Dimensions and Carriage Cleaners.

The press release stated that Cousins is in the process of considering more local and national retailers, which may include additional dining, women’s boutiques and professional services.
